As one of the fastest–growing school districts in Texas, the Keller Independent School District boasts two National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, 20 Texas Education Association (TEA) Exemplary and Recognized Schools, and the 2007 Texas State Secondary Teacher of the Year. At the core of the Keller ISD’s accomplishments is a collaborative partnership among schools, parents and the community. It’s a successful formula that earned Keller ISD 2005 – 2006 graduates $21.5 million in college scholarships.

Today, Keller ISD consists of 32 campuses serving more than 28,000 students enrolled in a four-tier system: Elementary (grades K—4), Intermediate (grades 5—6), Middle (grades 7—8) and High School (grades 9—12). A bond passed in November 2006 will fund the construction of a fourth high school that will open in Fall 2009. Every school in Keller ISD integrates cutting-edge technology into its daily curriculum, as well as a commitment to helping students understand today’s technology, and grooming them to excel in the global marketplace.

Activities beyond the classroom also play a vital role in enriching students’ daily academic experience. Academic decathlons, athletics, band, cheerleading, choir, DECA, drama, drill team and other UIL competitions provide students with exciting opportunities not only to compete, but to develop valuable teamwork skills, and grow as confident young leaders.

Keller ISD serves portions of the cities of Colleyville, Fort Worth, Haltom City, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Southlake, Watauga, Westlake and the entire City of Keller. It is currently rated Academically Acceptable by the Texas Education Association.
